Angel
Cregger is a young wife and mother of a
15 year old son. She is also a massive
heart attack survivor. In 2006 at the
age of 34 she had a massive heart
attack. It took 6 stints to open up some
of the blockages in her heart. The heart
attack caused severe damage to the left
ventricle of her heart. She was told she
would need a heart transplant. It took a
while to complete the transplant work
up, there were delays along the way but
she was listed June 18, 2007.
After
being listed she started having more and
more symptoms of congestive heart
failure. Her doctors advised her to
apply to get a LVAD, Left Ventricle
Assist Device. It is a heart pump she
carries with her all of the time. The
pump is internal and the controller and
batteries are external. She has had her
LVAD for 1 year 10 months now . It has
been a long and difficult road but she
continues to fight for her Son, Husband
and Family. |

|
The medical
bills and expenses are putting a huge
financial strain on their family. The
medical supplies needed for her heart
device are not readily available at
medical supply stores and they are
really expensive. The costs of the
supplies, doctors appointments, monthly
medications and travel expenses to
Baltimore on a biweekly basis is really
taking its toll. Please help support our
effort to lighten her financial load.
Thank you for your generosity! |
